Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs in Nonmetropolitan Counties

According to latest reports, around 30 million people in the United States have been diagnosed with diabetes, and new estimates indicate that by 2050, the number is projected to reach 60 million. As a result, preventive practices such as diabetes self-management education (DSME) are paramount to control the diabetes epidemic.
