Summary:
This webinar will serve as a continuation of the tobacco cessation series. Residents of low-income communities face issues surrounding tobacco use and increased exposures to substances such as tobacco. Housing authorities under the direction of the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development have decided to promote better health among these low-income communities. In order to achieve better health, housing authorities are transitioning to smoke-free housing. This session will outline the current initiative as well as provide strategies and techniques to effectively prepare residents and community members for healthier housing.
