The National Center for Health in Public Housing presented “Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Electronic Health Record Incentive Program-Stage 3 and Modifications to Meaningful Use in 2015 Through 2017.” This webinar focused on CMS’s final rule that specifies criteria that eligible professionals (EPs), eligible hospitals, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) must meet in order to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs. The final rule’s provisions encompass 2015 through 2017 (Modified Stage 2) as well as Stage 3 in 2018 and beyond.

Objectives:

  • Understand the CMS 2015-2017 Modification Rule Making with focus on 2015 MU
  • Identify which MU measures are typically the most challenging to meet and solutions to aid in attaining meaningful use
  • Know what one needs to plan and prepare for continuing with Meaningful use in program years 2016 and beyond
