Oral Health risk assessment is based on the premise that persons are not equally likely to develop oral health problems. For example, underserved populations are at a higher risk of developing oral health diseases and need more preventive oral health care and treatment. Oral health risk assessment involves identifying patients’ risks or protective factors that may impact their oral health.
