A wide body of evidence has established access to safe, affordable housing as a critical element to individual and community health. Because of this, health centers around the country seek to strengthen their health/housing partnerships, collaborations and partnerships to support population health in their communities. Integrating housing support into healthcare is complex. In this session Dr. Kevin Lombardi and the NCHPH team took a practical view of the evidence by reviewing frameworks and methodologies that support health/housing partnerships in real-world circumstances. This session focused on case studies of successful health/housing partnerships and the resources available to health centers, housing agencies and public health departments to improve and increase their health/housing initiatives.
