Community Engagement and Oral Health Access for Individuals in Public Housing
Health centers can engage with individuals living in public housing to increase access to oral health care. In this webinar by the National Center for Health in Public Housing (NCHPH) and the Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA), we described strategies for health center dental programs to connect people living in public housing to oral health care services. Strategies to enhance oral health literacy for the community were shared, along with a discussion of methods to partner with community organizations to help support people in public housing in finding employment and healthcare services with health centers.
