The National Center for Health in Public Housing (NCHPH) presented a two-part webinar series focused on strengthening colorectal cancer screening, prevention, and care delivery within health center settings. Designed for health educators and community health workers, this series offered practical, case-based learning to support improved screening practices and patient engagement. Participants reviewed current screening protocols based on guidance from the American College of Gastroenterology and examined real-world scenarios that address both clinical considerations and health-related needs that influence screening adherence and follow-up care. Through applied examples and guided discussion, participants built skills in interpreting screening findings, identifying risk factors, and determining appropriate next steps for patients with varying levels of risk. The series also highlighted the role of telehealth and coordinated care strategies in expanding access to screening services. By the end of the series, participants were better equipped to implement structured, patient-directed approaches that strengthen screening uptake and continuity of care.
